Whenever friends come over for a visit I try to take them to a few scenic communities in the area, and one of my have-to-see stops is the pretty village of Roussillon, with it's buildings painted with the minerals from the coloured earth upon which it sits.
The shades of rust, russet, ochres, earth-red, and rosy pink make for a stunning collection of homes, cafes and stores, built around narrow streets overlooking gorgeous patchwork-coloured countryside and terracotta shaded cliffs. I'm not doing it justice, here are the photographs ...
If you're ever in the area I suggest you make it a point to visit this gorgeous little village, it's well worth it. Hope you enjoyed my collection of images ... Cheers.
