So. My old point-and-click has finally died on me. argh. Everytime I switch it on it vibrates so badly that my photographs are pretty much non-recognizable. I need a new camera! And I have no idea of what to get ...
I can barely even call myself an amateur photographer and have no idea of how to use a camera other then point, focus, zoom and click. I take pics as reference for my drawings mainly, and for fun photos on the blogs. Still, I do like high-resolution photos, so that's pretty much my only requirement. Armed with that in mind and absolutely no other idea of what to really look for, I did some research on the net and came up with this:
SONY Cyber-shot Digital Camera RX100
It does have great reviews and has a lovely resolution of 20.2MP. Any thoughts, or ideas on other camera brands? I've been told that Panasonic does a good Lumix, but haven't found one with that high a resolution. Not quite sure what to do.
Does anyone out there have any experience with either the Sony or Panasonic cameras above, or recommendations on other digital cameras? I'm going to have to get another camera VERY SOON, so any advice would be extremely welcome ... cheers to all.
